2026 Scholarship Recipient  Reuben Chatterjee

Reuben Chatterjee was awarded the Eric Bassett Memorial Scholarship on June 2, 2026. He graduated with a 6.85/7.0 GPA, ranking 8th in a class of 808 students. Throughout high school, Reuben was a four-year varsity member of the Cy-Fair swim team and served as a captain during his senior year. He was also a member of the Cy-Fair Athletic Leadership Council and the CFISD Student-Athlete Leadership Team. In addition to his athletic achievements, Reuben competed in UIL Academics and was the District Champion in Current Issues and Events during his junior year. As a member of the National Honor Society and an active volunteer through his church, Faithbridge, he dedicated his time to serving communities throughout the Northwest Houston area. Reuben will attend Texas A&M University in the fall of 2026, where he plans to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering as part of the Craig and Galen Brown Engineering Honors Program.
