2020 Scholarship Recipient Ashley Tran

Ashley Tran was awarded the Eric Bassett Memorial Scholarship on May 27th, 2020. Ashley graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cy-Fair High School with a GPA of 6.83 and was ranked 12th in a class of 893. She was a member of the UIL Literary Criticism Team, Science National Honor Society, and National Honor Society. Ashley was a founder and secretary of Cy-Fair High School’s Finance Club. She was a three year letterman on the Bobcat’s Varsity Tennis Team. She is an active member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, and plan’s to be an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in College Station. Ashley will enter Texas A&M in the Fall of 2020.  She will pursue a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology (Pre-Med track) and intends to be the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2024!
